Our achievements
Department of Social Services as one of the nation-building departments of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh is providing services to the distressed, poor, neglected, backward, underprivileged, troubled backward and disabled people of the country. By turning all these target groups into human resources, the Department of Social Services is playing an important role in the overall development of the country by providing poverty alleviation and social security. These programs of the Department are being successfully implemented at the field level by the Office of the Probation Officer, Narail. So far, the number of children rehabilitated to families through the alternative section is 07, the number of ongoing rehabilitation through the alternative section is 02 children, the rehabilitation of children through legal assistance is 05, the number of probation cases is 131, the number of diversion cases is 01, 40 persons providing entertainment and essential materials to prisoners, 91 persons training prisoners in various trades, the rehabilitation through probation and after care program is 364.
